- Use of Aspirin
No body like to have high blood pressure. It takes a long time to develop and once its symptoms appear, it is too late to cure it. At this stage one needs to take medications for the rest of his/her life. There are some precautionary steps to take to avoid having high blood pressure. These are :
- Eat healthy diet.
- Maintain a healthy weight.
- Be physically active.
- Do not smoke. or quit smoking.
- Avoid drinking alcohol or limit it.
- Get enough deep sleep.
- Use of Aspirin.
Eat healthy diet: —— A healthy diet include potassium, protein and fiber with less salt and saturated fat. Be sure to eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Maintain a healthy weight: —– Obesity increases risk of high blood pressure. To determine if your weight is in ” healthy range” doctors calculate your BMI ( Body Mass Index). To be more accurate, they can measure waist and hip to access body fat.
Be physically active: —— Physical activity will keep a person at a healthy weight which will help to keep blood pressure at healthy level. Adults should get at least 2 hours and 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise, such as fast walking, bicycling every week. (30 minutes a day, 5 days a week).
Do not smoke : —— Smoking is one of main cause of high blood pressure. If you smoke, think just for a minute, “what benefit i am getting from smoking?. and what are the bad effects of smoking?”. Smoking is a useless habit which drives us to many problems. Why should not we quit it?. I have been smoking for about 55 years. And i stooped smoking at once 12 years before and i have saved myself from many diseases specially coughing.
Avoid drinking alcohol or limit it: ——-Drinking alcohol has no benefit to human body. It damage our liver . If you are habitual of drinking alcohol , it is a good idea to limit is to 2 alcoholic drinks per day (This formula is for men only). Women should have no more than 1 alcoholic drink. Excessive alcoholic drinks will raise your blood pressure.
Get enough deep sleep: —— It is proved that having a deep sleep at least 6 to 8 hours in 24 hours is very important to our overall good health. Beside that enough sleep has good effects on our heart and blood vessels to keep them healthy. If one does not get enough sleep on regular basis, there are chances to increased risk of heart diseases , high blood pressure and stroke.
Use of Aspirin
Aspirin is widely used for headache, flue and fever.
Some people drink less water/liquids. this makes their blood thick. Blood does not circulate in blood vessels easily. This condition can lead to high blood pressure or a heart attack. Aspirin is a blood thinner, and prevent any clot in the blood. Clots become dangerous when they move around the body or stop the flow of blood to important parts of body specially brain.
Doctors advise some patients to take one tablet of Aspirin daily after breakfast. The Aspirin keeps the blood thin and blood flow easily in blood vessel. In the result the chances of getting high blood pressure are low.
You must consult a doctor before taking Aspirin on daily basis.
